FRIEND
Since I’m running out of ideas on thingsthat I Should blog about. I consulted an English textbook for first year high school students. It has some writing activities and voila!! Now i have something to write about.
BY the way, the title of the textbook I’m talking about is Interactive Learning through English by Evelyn Belen.
Lesson 5, Using Reference Materials
ACTIVITY 2 - Write a descriptive paragrapah about a friend you feel is most likely to succeed in the future. Why do you admire him?
Alright then. I think my friend Paul is likely to succeed in the future.
He’s Paul Tenepere, he is my seatmate in one of my DevCom classes. He’s a shiftee (he transfered from BS Vet to my course BS Devcom). It was surprising at first since he was already a third year in Vet and suddenly he decided to shift. Anyway, let’s not focus on that. Paul has talent in speaking, no doubt about that. He is a good emcee and he hosted a lot of events. He is also very smart. HIs grades last semester qualifies for a University Scholar (US). Aside from that, he also knows how to prioritize things. At teh same time, he’s a multi-tasker. I could say he is indeed professional in everything that he does. Plus, he is also a great brod. We are both members of the UP Community Broadcasters’ Society. And if he would only accept it next year, I think he could be a good President. He has a potential and he is hardworking. I admire him because of that. He’ll succeed on the future, and I’m betting on that. He never fails to inspire me through his excellence, since I’m a lazy, no-brainer student. XD
Hay naku Paul, kung mabasa mo man to, wag lalaki ang ulo ha. Wala lang akong magawa. K? :D

I WISH EVERYTHING WOULD SLOW DOWN
Nagsasawa na ako at marunong din naman akong mapagod.
Hindi ako dapat ma-stress pero heto, I wish I could take it all back. Sana hindi na lang ako pumayag. Sana hindi na lang ako sumali. Sana hindi na lang ako um-OO. Sana hindi ko inako. Sawa na ako sa multi-tasking, sa stress at pressure.
Wala nang natirang time para sa sarili ko.
Like I said, UNTI-UNTI NA AKONG BINABAGO NG MUNDO AT NG MGA TAO SA PALIGID KO.
Ibang-iba na ako.
At nami-miss ko yung dating ako na easy-go-lucky, may time kay Lord, may time sa sarili, hindi fake ang mga tawa, hindi naiistress, hindi nagpapaapekto.
I wish I could do it again.

ONE BROAD NIGHT
As one of the main activities of the DEVC130(Broadcast Speech and Performance) we get to conduct and organize the One Broad Night - an event where the DEVC130 class will get the chance to host and perform just like in ASAP.
Main haggardness: Preparation. There were 3 lab sections who were assigned to different tasks. I was assigned to head the Program Committee so we made all the rundown and arranged the performances. The semester was near the end so you can’t just drag your labmates to practice for the performance. Eventually, we were able to rehearse and have fun at the same time.

^this happened a Day before One Broad Night. XD Soooo, candid. HAHAHA
So we go to the event.
It started at around 7:30 It’s supposed to start at 7pm, but most of us were late.
And of course, I looked gorgeous. HA HA HA (For the first time in my life)
And for the rest of the show.
Each performance will be introduced by three hosts. (I was the one who assigned the arrangement for our class so I ended up with Paul and Carroll)
We introduced the performer for the DEVC132 Class, Jelo (Vocalist of Juniper Face the Corner)
Some highlights of the show.
^Nominees for the Best Dressed Award (Male Category). Kyle (second to the right) won but he was no longer there during the awards night so Levi (right side) claimed the award instead.
^Nominees for the Best Dressed Award (Female Category). I was one of the nominees, but i skipped off the stage o go grab the surprise birthday cake for Diana :D
This is what I was up to.
Suprise! It was Diana’s (the overall head for One Broad Night) 18th Birthday. instead of celebrating it at home, she spent it in One Broad Night. :D

^Love team of the night. Well, loveteam FOREVER! :D That’s Ria and Paul, two of my closest friends here in UPLB.
They really look cute together, right? :)))
^BEST PERFORMANCE! hahaha. this was a drama featuring the life of devcom students without our dearest Tita Chato (who manages the room where we pass our outputs in the pigeonhole). It was superb!
